‘Hazel Canyon’ is the final single from Resavoir and Matt Gold’s brand new collaborative album, Horizon. The partnership combines Chicago-based artist and guitarist Matt Gold’s talent with that of Will Miller, trumpeter and leader of Resavoir. ‘Hazel Canyon’ continues to explore the pair’s fascination with 60s and 70s Brazilian music, blending Bossa Nova influences with their expansive compositional abilities. It’s a summery, dancey track that places Gold’s pedal steel and electric guitars above a laid-back, smooth, warm groove. Horizon drops on June 12th, 2025, via International Anthem and the duo will be playing a release show at Chicago’s Costellation on June 21st. -Dan Peeke
